We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Video Editor

Location: Ajah, Lagos

Job Description

• We’re looking for a talented video editor to join our content team and help bring engaging how-to tech videos to life for our YouTube channel, SolveIt with Geraldine.
• Your main role will be to take our voice-over scripts and screen recordings (phone or laptop), and turn them into clean, informative, and visually engaging videos that make tech tutorials simple for viewers.

Responsibilities

• EditYouTube videos (2 - 4 minutes) using voice-over scripts and raw screen recordings.
• Add text overlays, smooth transitions, callouts, and zoom-ins to emphasize steps.
• Insert annotations, arrows, highlights, or animations to guide the viewer clearly.
• Sync screen recordings to voice-over smoothly, trimming unnecessary parts.
• Add royalty-free background music and simple sound effects if needed.
• Deliver content inYouTube-ready format(HD/Full HD, proper aspect ratio, thumbnail frame, etc.)
• Follow a clear, consistent style and branding (templates provided if needed).
• Be responsive and deliver 2–3 videos per week (or more based on availability).

Requirements

• Proven experience editing tech tutorials, screen recordings, or how-to videos.
• Proficient in software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Camtasia, CapCut Desktop, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Comfortable working with both phone and desktop screen recordings.
• Good understanding of YouTube formats, pacing, and viewer attention strategies.
• Ability to follow instructions and scripts precisely while adding creative visual guidance.
• Strong communication skills and fast turnaround time.

Bonus (not required, but a plus):

• Motion graphics or animation skills (basic animated arrows, step highlights, etc.)
• Experience editing for tech, productivity, or digital skills YouTube channels.
• Ability to source relevant stock visuals or screen mockups.

Salary
N150,000 Monthly.
