Job Title: IBR Welder

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and certified IBR Welder with 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in industrial welding for piping, boilers, and pressure vessels.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for executing high-quality welds in compliance with the Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) and internal safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding tasks in accordance with IBR standards and safety protocols.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Carry out welding operations on pipelines, pressure vessels, tanks, and structural components.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of welds for quality assurance.
• Work with various welding processes including SMAW, GTAW, and MIG as required.
• Perform pre-heating, post-weld heat treatment, and surface preparation tasks as necessary.
• Ensure proper maintenance and safe handling of welding equipment and tools.
• Coordinate with supervisors and engineers to meet project timelines.
• Adhere to company’s HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) policies and maintain a clean work area.
• Maintain accurate welding records and logbooks for audits and inspections.

Requirements

• Minimum of Trade Test, Technical Certificate, or Diploma in Welding Technology or a related field.
• IBR certification (mandatory) with valid credentials.
• 3 - 6 years of industrial welding experience, preferably in mining, oil & gas, or heavy industry.
• Strong understanding of different welding techniques, base metals, and filler materials.
• Experience with high-pressure pipelines and boiler welding is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Sound knowledge of welding safety procedures and quality standards.
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments.
• Excellent team spirit and communication skills.
