Job Title: Site Inventory Officer / Storekeeper
Location: Lagos

Role Overview
The Inventory Officer / Storekeeper will be stationed on the construction site and will be responsible for tracking, organizing, and safeguarding all materials and tools delivered, used, and returned throughout the project lifecycle.
This role is essential to ensuring material accountability, reducing waste, and supporting a well-coordinated building process.
We are currently seeking a Site Inventory Officer / Storekeeper to support our field operations by ensuring the accurate receipt, issue, and return of construction materials and tools on site.
Key Responsibilities
Receive and inspect all materials delivered to the site for quantity and quality
Record incoming stock and update inventory registers or digital systems accordingly
Issue materials and tools to artisans, contractors, or subcontractors based on approved requests
Track and document partial use of materials, ensuring unused items are returned and properly stored
Maintain an organized and secure site store
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile with usage reports
Flag low stock levels or potential shortages to the Project Manager or Procurement team
Monitor and log all material movement on site daily
Support compliance with health, safety, and site cleanliness standards
Report damages, discrepancies, or material misuse promptly
Requirements
Candidate should possess an OND/HND/BSc in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Building Technology, or related field
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or materials management (construction site experience is strongly preferred)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain accurate manual or digital inventory records
High level of integrity and accountability
Proficient in using basic Excel and/or inventory software
Familiarity with construction materials and tools is a strong advantage
Able to work independently and manage multiple requests simultaneously
Working Hours:
Standard working hours are Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Occasional Sunday work may be required, especially during time-sensitive activities like casting or material delivery
Flexibility and commitment to the construction schedule are essential
