Job Title: Specialist, Enterprise System and BCP Admin
Location: Lagos

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Deploy and manage VMs in both Cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
Configuring VM for Optimum Cost, Performance, and Security.
Backing up VMs and potentially providing failover recovery.
Backing Up Data and making it efficient to restore when needed.
Configuring long-term archival storage to maintain corporate compliance
Encrypting data in transit, at rest, and in use.
Responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure server infrastructure.
Install, configure, troubleshoot, backup and recovery, performance tune and secure Linux and Windows environments.
Monitor and establish daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up.
Resolves hardware/software interface and interoperability problems
Installs/Configures/Maintains Enterprise storage area network (SAN).
Participates in the ongoing process of investigating, analyzing and providing long-term resolutions to infrastructure issues.
Coordinates across teams, working closely with peers to ensure the appropriate focus and sense of urgency are applied to all production issues.
Works with third-party suppliers and vendors for support, upgrades and implementations (RMS Servers and POC Projects).
Full understanding on Microsoft Azure cloud IAAS
Provides infrastructure support for backend Windows based Order Management System.
Hyperconverged Infrastructure Hardware and software administration.
Maintain Server and datacenter asset register
Provide Server availability report using ManageEngine OP Manager and Azure Monitor
Build and maintain the unit operational procedure.
Other Specifics:
Data Risk mitigation and remediations – identification of Business Continuity related risks (internal/external).
Assurance for the organization’s operational resilience. The importance of testing BCP plans regularly – a litmus test for an organization’s readiness to face unexpected challenges
Customer and stakeholder confidence – Scalable infrastructure and resource optimization leveraging DC Hyperconverged infrastructure, delivering essential functions such as data storage
Hands-on management of the Business Resiliency program. Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis/Incident Management
Disaster Recovery Infrastructure deployment (Physical components and Hardware) and Plan (ITDR).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, engineering, Information Technology
Minimum of 3 - 5 Years working experience, preferably in a Telecommunication and IT solutions industry
ITIL Foundation is required.
Advance knowledge of Azure platform.
Advance skill on Linux administration.
Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification is recommended
Background IT knowledge on Virtual Machines, Networks and other IT Infrastructure aspects.
Advance knowledge of Windows server administration
Advance knowledge of VMware ESXI administration
CompTIA A+ certified is required or equivalent.
