As a Logistics Associate, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising our logistics operations for timely and accurate order deliveries, while collaborating with third-party logistics partners to address delivery challenges and implement improvements.
Job Responsibilities
As a Logistics Associate, you will be expected to perform the following duties:
Logistics Management:
Coordinate and optimise logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
Liaise with third-party logistics partners to maintain efficient delivery networks.
Monitor delivery performance, address challenges, and implement improvements.
Rider Recruitment:
Develop and execute strategies for recruiting delivery riders to meet operational demands.
Collaborate with HR to conduct interviews, assess candidates, and facilitate the onboarding process.
Maintain a pool of qualified riders and ensure an adequate supply to meet business needs.
Training and Development:
Design and conduct training programs for new and existing riders to enhance their skills and efficiency.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to riders to ensure a high level of service quality.
Performance Monitoring:
Implement performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of logistics operations.
Conduct regular assessments of rider performance and address any issues promptly.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of rider information, including contact details and performance data.
Generate reports on logistics and rider recruitment activities for management review.
Job Requirements
At least 6 months of work experience/interest in an Operations, Logistics or Supply Chain related role.
You must have completed studies at a University, Polytechnic or similar institution
You should be familiar with CRM, and comfortably use spreadsheets to collect, analyse & interpret data.
Effectively manage projects using project management techniques and tools
Be conversant with Logistics operations in such industries as Food and Beverage, FMCG, e-commerce, Transportation, and others
Communicate effectively with different levels of stakeholders, and be able to negotiate, too
Demonstrate results in improving business performance through leadership
Have a highly developed sense of urgency.
