Job Summary
We are seeking an Experienced, Seasoned and Strategic Marketing Manager with a strong background in FMCG to lead the planning and execution of marketing initiatives in Lagos, Anambra, Benin.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer behavior, brand management, and data-driven marketing strategies.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans that drive brand awareness, consumer engagement, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Execute Marketing Strategies: Create and implement integrated marketing plans for FMCG products aligned with business objectives.
Brand Management: Drive brand equity by ensuring consistent messaging, positioning, and visual identity across all channels.
Market Research & Consumer Insights: Analyze market trends, competition, and consumer behavior to identify growth opportunities.
Campaign Management: Plan and oversee 360° marketing campaigns including digital, ATL (TV, radio, print), BTL (activations, promotions), and trade marketing.
Product Launches: Lead go-to-market strategies for new product development and existing product enhancements.
Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets, track ROI, and optimize spending for maximum efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Trade Marketing, Product Development, and Supply Chain to ensure alignment and execution.
Agency & Vendor Management: Coordinate with creative, media, and digital agencies to deliver impactful campaigns on time and within budget.
Digital Marketing Oversight: Lead digital initiatives including SEO, SEM, content marketing, and social media engagement.
Performance Analysis: Track, report, and optimize KPIs to assess campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in FMCG.
Proven track record in managing brand portfolios and successful product launches.
Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Proficient in digital marketing tools, data analytics platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in managing large marketing budgets.
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
