Job Title: Logistics Executive

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Executive to support and streamline our logistics operations.
This role is critical in ensuring smooth import processes, timely deliveries, and accurate financial documentation.
The ideal candidate will manage shipping logistics, customs documentation, PAAR applications, inventory tracking, and operational reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Documentation & Compliance:
Prepare and finalize Agent Final Bills WRS within 2 days of vehicle delivery.
Ensure accurate documentation for all logistics activities, including invoices, delivery notes, shipping records, and waybills.
Apply and monitor PAAR (Pre-Arrival Assessment Reports) as soon as SONCAP is received.
Ensure PAAR validation is completed same day of application and is received within 24 hours.
Track PAAR progress and escalate any delay in approval or processing.
Shipping & Delivery Operations:
Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including vehicle dispatch, spare parts distribution, and returns.
Monitor shipping and terminal charges validity to prevent delays in payment and clearance.
Liaise with customs agents, clearing personnel, freight forwarders, and terminal operators for seamless clearance and delivery of imported vehicles/parts.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian Customs, SON, and other regulatory agencies.
Logistics Monitoring & Reporting:
Update the Daily Logistics Sheet, maintaining real-time status on all shipments and deliveries.
Track and report delivery timelines, potential bottlenecks, and coordinate with relevant internal departments.
Support the use and optimization of logistics management systems.
Operational Support:
Align delivery timelines with sales/service departments to meet customer expectations.
Optimize transport modes/routes for cost savings and efficiency.
Contribute to continuous process improvement and logistics automation initiatives.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
2–3 years of logistics or supply chain experience (automobile industry preferred).
Hands-on experience with PAAR, shipping terminals, and customs clearance.
Strong understanding of transportation regulations, inventory control, and international shipping processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics ERP tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Familiarity with vehicle documentation and registration is a plus.
