Job Title: Experienced Mixer Operator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The Mixer Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining mixing equipment used to combine raw materials according to production specifications.
• The role ensures that mixing processes are carried out efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mixing equipment to blend materials as per defined formulas or production orders.
• Weigh, measure, and load ingredients accurately into mixers.
• Monitor mixing times, speeds, and temperatures to ensure consistency and quality.
• Inspect materials and finished batches for consistency and report any issues to the supervisor.
• Record batch data, including quantities, lot numbers, and observations in production logs.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
• Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work area in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
• Follow all safety protocols and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Collaborate with quality assurance and other production staff to maintain product standards.
• Assist in inventory control by monitoring usage and reporting low stock levels of raw materials.

Qualifications and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Prior experience as a Mixer Operator or in a manufacturing/production environment preferred.
• Basic math skills and the ability to follow written instructions/formulas.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and stand for long hours.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety and cleanliness.
• Ability to work in shifts and in a fast-paced environment.

Salary
N150,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
