Job Title: HR Associate - West African Luxury Goods Retail
Are you passionate about building a rewarding career in Human Resources within the dynamic luxury retail industry? We’re seeking an ambitious HR Associate to join our growing team and gain invaluable experience working closely with our Head of Human Resources and senior HR executives across multiple regions and locations.
This is more than just an entry-level position – it’s your gateway to comprehensive, real-world HR training that goes far beyond traditional classroom learning. You’ll be immersed in all aspects of the HR value chain, from recruitment and employee relations to policy development and strategic HR initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Support HR initiatives and projects across various regions and retail locations
Assist with recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding new hires
Help maintain employee records and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
Support employee relations activities and conflict resolution under guidance
Assist in policy development and implementation across locations
Contribute to training and development program coordination
Support performance management processes and documentation
Help with compliance monitoring and regulatory requirements
Assist in HR analytics and reporting activities
Provide administrative support for various HR functions
What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree (BSc) or strong Higher National Diploma (HND)
Career Commitment: A genuine passion for building a career in Human Resources with plans to pursue professional HR certification (ACIPM or similar) within 6-12 months of joining
Personal Attributes: Calm demeanor, highly attentive, and demonstrably eager to learn
Learning Mindset: Willingness to take on complex tasks with guidance and support, embracing challenges as growth opportunities
Technical Skills: Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Digital Savvy: Tech-oriented with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to user-friendly HR software solutions

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
