We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Sangotedo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Provide management with financial reports to assist in decision-making.
• Assist in preparing the company’s annual budget and provide ongoing financial forecasts.
• Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and provide variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, accounting standards, and other financial reporting requirements.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, VAT filings, and other regulatory reports in a timely manner.
• Monitor cash flow and ensure the company has sufficient funds to meet operational needs.
• Manage bank accounts, conduct reconciliations, and handle banking transactions as required.
• Process invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and manage relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Ensure all statutory contributions (e.g., pension, tax) are deducted and submitted appropriately.
• Implement and maintain effective financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 2 years work experience.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
