We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: IT Support Officer

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and technically sound IT Support Specialist to oversee, maintain, and improve the company’s IT infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will not only handle technical support but also possess working knowledge of e-commerce platforms, website optimization, and basic SEO practices to enhance our digital visibility and drive performance across all online assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective first-level and second-level IT support across the company.
• Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructures.
• Manage company emails, servers, and local area networks (LAN/WiFi).
• Monitor and maintain the company’s website and e-commerce platforms
• Implement and support basic SEO strategies to improve website rankings and visibility.
• Back up and secure company data regularly and ensure cybersecurity measures are up to date.
• Provide support during events, installations, and system updates.
• Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation.
• Liaise with third-party vendors for system upgrades, repairs, or installations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on IT support experience, preferably in a fast-paced business environment.
• Proficiency in diagnosing hardware/software issues and providing end-user support.
• Basic understanding of web management tools (e.g., WordPress, Shopify).
• Familiarity with SEO tools and concepts.
• Knowledge of networking and cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms and digital payment tools is a strong advantage.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to train non-technical staff and write user-friendly guides.
