Job Title: Managing Director

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• The incumbents report directly to the Board of Directors and see to the day-to-day operations of the company by driving growth and expansion as well as managing the stakeholders management.
• The successful individual will provide guidance to the Board and lead executive management in strategic and tactical undertakings for operational excellence.
• Oversight will include human resources & administration, finance and accounts, and engineering services.
• The challenge is the acceleration of growth and development, and positioning as a leader in road construction

Requirements

• Minimum of a first degree in Civil Engineering or related field, a post-graduate degree in Engineering/ Business Management is desirable.
• Professional Certification and membership of relevant Engineering/ Management bodies are advantageous.
• Minimum of 16 years post-graduate experience, of which 7 years must have been in a senior management role, only in the road construction sector.
• The right candidate must be entrepreneurial with a deep sense of industry experience (local/ international) and demonstrate the capacity to drive results independently and through the team, while smoothly managing regulatory and other stakeholder relationships in a multi-billion road construction project.
• The right candidate must be a proactive, resilient, and flexible candidate to navigate a complex, fast-changing environment. He must be scientifically oriented, appreciate research and technology, and have a strong technical background in engineering, construction and project supervision. He must have sound knowledge of FIDIC or similar contract standards, construction methodology. engineering documentation, & working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project, and he will supervise the preparation and review of technical proposals, project schedules and BEME & BOQs,
• A worldview that has the core values of integrity, fairness and high ethical leadership embedded, he must demonstrate transformational capacity and seamless ability to carry along the various stakeholders through excellent communication and relationship management.
• This Position attracts a competitive compensation package and perquisites that are performance-based.

Salary
N1,000,000 - N1,500,000 Monthly.
