Job Description

• We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Security Guard to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our premises.
• As a Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining a secure environment for our staff, visitors, and property.
• Your primary focus will be to monitor and patrol designated areas, manage access points, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
• You will utilize your observational skills to detect any unusual activities, enforce security regulations, and assist in the prevention of loss or damage.
• Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with a diverse range of people, including employees, visitors, and local authorities.
• In addition, you will be required to maintain accurate records of daily activities, prepare detailed incident reports, and collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Control access to buildings and facilities by verifying identification and credentials.
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and any unauthorized activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of premises and equipment to detect and deter security breaches.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to employees and visitors.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a security guard or relevant position.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Salary
N40,000 - N50,000 Monthly.
