Job Description
Multigate is seeking a high-performing Sales Manager to lead our field Sales Associates, drive strategic customer acquisition, and deliver revenue growth across key markets.
The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience combined with hands-on sales expertise and is passionate about coaching high-energy field teams to achieve ambitious business goals.
You will be responsible for recruiting, developing, and motivating a team of field Sales Associates on the ground, ensuring consistent achievement of both individual and team sales targets.
This is a hybrid role with leadership and direct sales accountability—ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, target-driven environments and leads by example.
Duties / Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Sales Associates, providing coaching, training, and daily support to maximize their effectiveness.
Set clear sales targets for the team and yourself, tracking performance and ensuring goals are consistently met or exceeded.
Collaborate with senior management to design and execute territory sales strategies, go-to-market campaigns, and incentive plans.
Generate personal sales by identifying high-potential prospects, nurturing relationships, and closing deals—especially with key or strategic accounts.
Monitor and analyze field activities, market trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to inform sales strategy and proactively address challenges.
Foster a positive, high-performance sales culture through motivation, accountability, recognition, and continuous skill development.
Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new Sales Associates as needed.
Collaborate closely with Product, Compliance, and Customer Success teams to ensure seamless onboarding and solution delivery for clients.
Disciplined utilisation of our CRM to prepare and deliver regular reports on team and individual performance, pipeline health, win/loss analysis, and market insights.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field (preferred).
5+ years of proven success in B2B sales, with at least 1 year in a team lead, supervisory, or management role.
Experience within payments, financial services, or related sectors, especially with SMEs and enterprise corporates.
Demonstrated ability to recruit, coach, and motivate high-performing sales teams.
Proven hunter mentality, self-motivated, resilient, persistent, and driven by sales targets.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion and negotiation skills.
Strong ownership mentality and does not take no for an answer.
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively under pressure and consistently deliver measurable results - with a focus on outcomes rather than activity reporting.
Data-driven mindset, comfortable using CRM tools and analytics to monitor performance and optimize processes.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories.
