Job Summary
Our client organization needs an experienced and skilled Product Marketing Manager to join our team to own and execute our go-to-market strategy.
This role requires someone who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:
Go-To-Market (GTM) Strategy:Develop and lead comprehensive GTM plans for product launches, new features, and market entry initiatives.
Customer & Market Insights: Conduct deep market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to inform product positioning and messaging.
Positioning & Messaging: Define compelling product narratives and value propositions for various customer segments across our platform.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, design, engineering, sales, and operations teams to align product roadmap with customer needs and ensure successful feature rollouts.
Campaign Development: Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social, paid, content, and partnerships) that drive product awareness, engagement, and adoption.
Marketing Enablement: Create product collateral, pitch decks, landing pages, FAQs, blog posts, and internal documentation that support both the sales team and customer education.
Data & Impact Tracking: Use data and analytics tools to track campaign performance, customer acquisition, and usage pa erns—then turn insights into actionable strategies.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related feld.
3–5 years of experience in product marketing, growth marketing, or GTM roles—ideally in tech, SaaS, logistics, or consumer services.Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Demonstrated success in developing and launching impactful campaigns.
Proven ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
Experience working in fast-paced startup environments or building in unstructured environments.
Skills & Attributes:
Strategic thinker with strong execution skills—you can move from ideation to launch independently.
Deep curiosity about customer behaviour and product-market ft. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Analytical mindset—comfortable interpreting data and deriving insights. ○ Strong collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams.
High sense of ownership, self-drive, and attention to detail.
Preferred but Not Required:
Prior experience in delivery, logistics, fintech, or marketplace platforms. Familiarity with tools like Hubspot, Segment, Mixpanel, or similar. Background in marketing for African or emerging markets.

Have experience launching products in African markets.
