Job Summary

• We are looking for a proactive and experienced Finance Manager to lead our finance operations, ensure financial health, and support our growth journey.
• The Finance Manager will oversee all financial activities of the business, including budgeting, reporting, cash flow management, financial analysis, statutory compliance, and internal controls.
• This role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and a hands-on approach to managing the company's finances for sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Manage the company’s budgeting and planning process, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Monitor cash flow, banking, and treasury operations, ensuring adequate liquidity and fund management.
• Ensure timely and accurate tax filings, remittances, and compliance with regulatory bodies.
• Analyze financial data to support decision-making, business expansion, and cost optimization.
• Develop and enforce strong financial controls, accounting procedures, and internal audits.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and other third-party service providers.
• Lead finance-related projects, including pricing, investment appraisals, or system implementation.
• Supervise and mentor junior finance staff or accountants where applicable.
• Advise the management team on financial implications of business strategies and risks.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (a Master’s degree is an added advantage).
• Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably within financial services, retail, or similar sectors.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of financial principles, tax regulations, and corporate finance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and commitment to confidentiality.
