Job Title: Chief Financial Officer

Position Overview

• The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company while also acting as the Controller of Operations in the host country.
  This dual capacity role requires a results-driven, strategic leader with a deep understanding of financial management, regulatory compliance, and operational oversight.
• The ideal candidate will not only be a financial expert but also a dynamic executor capable of building systems, teams, and culture in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Leadership & Strategy:

• Develop and execute the financial strategy aligned with the company's overall goals.
• Establish financial policies, systems, and controls to support growth.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Ensure legal and regulatory compliance in all financial functions.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, and initiate corrective actions where needed.
• Act as the Controller of Operations, managing the day-to-day operational processes in the host country.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build efficient workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Lead the development of local procurement, logistics, and supply chain strategies.
• Manage local vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
• Ensure all local operations align with the company’s global standards and ethics.
• Build and lead a high-performing finance and operations team.
• Champion a dynamic, high-integrity culture that values innovation and accountability.
• Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on operational and financial matters.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field (MBA or professional certification such as ICAN/ACCA is a plus).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial leadership roles
• Proven track record of overseeing business operations and leading in startup or high growth environments.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, compliance standards, and tax policies in the host country.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to roll up sleeves and execute when needed.
• Prior experience working in multinational or culturally diverse settings is preferred
• International studies will be considered an added advantage.
