Job Title: Junior Accountant (Microfinance Bank)

• My client is looking for an Accountant to help us manage receivables, support credit control, and keep our books in check.

Responsibilities
What You’ll Do:

• Track daily repayments, reconcile payments (POS, mobile money, transfers)
• Support collections and flag overdue accounts early
• Assist with credit performance reports and bookkeeping
• Work closely with the sales and ops teams to keep payment flows smooth

Requirements
What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: 3-4 years in credit control, microfinance, or receivables accounting
• Experience in credit control or microfinance
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to learn
• Comfortable with numbers, structure, and customer conversations

Tools:

• Excel, Google Sheets, basic accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks = big plus)
• Bonus: Knowledge of PAYGO or BNPL models.
