About this Opportunity
The primary function of this role is to provide expert-level support of Ericsson the OSS domain (OSS-RC/ENM) and overall system administration.
Highly specialized engineer to provide end-to-end automation and customization of tasks according to customer needs, (Analysis, Fixing, and Corrective Maintenance).
Escalate & Liaise with Ericsson Support organization for 3rd line support until resolution, including CSR handling.
Support the provision of accurate reporting on the network to the customer, supplying technical/statistical data as required.
Responsibilities
What you will do:
Technical assistance to customer’s 2nd line/Back Office for all aspects of RAN, comprising of OSS/ENM domain. Providing support to resolve complex network and performance faults.
End-to-end technical support for the issues arising in the OSS/ENM domain
End-to-end fixing for the issues related to OSS/ENM Platform, Fault Management, User Management, Software/Hardware Management, STS Management, and OSS/ENM applications.
Overall system administration of Ericsson OSS-RC/ENM ,ENIQ & OMBS.
Ensure the synchronization of Nodes with the ENM on the configuration side, alarms, statistics, and backups
Provide end to end automation and customization of tasks according to customer needs (FMX rules, scripts and scheduled reports)
Ensure the availability of NOC applications and tools (customization filters, Network Health Monitor template...).
Integration of Radio Network Nodes with ENM using scripts prepared according to client policy such as acceptance, new integration and disintegration.
Ensuring that the ENM security is always maintained (create users with specific roles)
Solution Management for Customized Business Object – Templates / Reports.
Implement system configuration changes as per given procedure
Innovate, improve, and automate routine tasks.
Working with Engineering and Network rollout to ensure that all technical issues that will affect the operational environment are considered in the design, testing, and trial, and risks are highlighted appropriately. Supporting design and pilot activities.
Ensure that sufficient regular audits take place to proactively maintain elements and sufficient documentation exists to be able to audit the network.
Closely monitoring the planned works on the deployed RAN on a switch by switch basis, to ensure that network availability is sufficiently maintained taking the necessary corrective action where necessary.
Effectively call out & liaise with Vendor support until fault resolution.
Requirements
The skills you bring:
Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Physics, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years of operational support experience of RNC/EnodeB platforms, with in depth understanding of the platform and performance fixing.
Able to demonstrate an in-depth working technical knowledge the OSS domain (OSS-RC/ENM) and overall system administration.
Good knowledge of Ericsson OSS-RC/ENM, ENIQ, OMBS and Business Objects.
Strong knowledge in Linux/Unix systems with shell scripting and Python
