We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Legal Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Objectives

• To ensure and monitor strict compliance with local regulations.

Job Responsibilities
Core Functions:

• Drafting and vetting of all legal documents (Deeds of Assignment, Land Survey Agreement, Land Excision Agreement, Contract of Sale, Deed of Transfer / Gift, Memorandum of Association, Power of Attorney etc. between the Company, Sister Companies, Families from whose Land had been bought, Clients and Surveyors etc.
• Maintain Custody of seal, all legal documents and ensure that stamp duties are applied on all legal instruments of PWAN Royale Investment & Development Limited where necessary.
• Keep records of all Companies, Subsidiaries, activities and documentation.
• Manage correspondence between the Families we purchased land from and the Company.
• Ensure consistent follow–up on the processes of getting excisions cum certificates of occupancy for all our landed properties.
• Ensure that all our clients and PBOs are adequately informed on the status of their properties regularly.
• Handle all court processes served on the company.
• Liaise with external counsels and regulatory bodies to monitor strict compliance for the business
• Ensure that relevant laws and regulations are implemented and adhered to.
• Coordinate proper filing of clients records received in easy retrievable format e.g. coding of files.
• Perform any other functions as may be assigned by the Managing Director.

Education & Experience

• First Degree in Law with a minimum LLB (Hons) and B.L,
• LLM, MBA or other higher relevant Degree will be an added advantage
• Certified Member of any relevant professional bodies.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience in Real Estate Sector / Law Firm.

Salary
N3,000,000 - N3,300,000 / Annum.
