Job Title: School Nurse (Retired Nurse)

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to students and staff as needed, including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response.
• Assess and manage acute and chronic health conditions of students, such as allergies, asthma, diabetes, and injuries.
• Develop and implement individualized health plans and care protocols for students with special medical needs.
• Conduct health screenings, assessments, and immunization reviews to promote early detection and prevention of health issues.
• Educate students, families, and staff about health-related topics, including nutrition, hygiene, safety, and disease prevention.
• Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and counselors to address health-related concerns and promote a healthy school environment.
• Maintain accurate and confidential health records for students, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and communications.
• Serve as a liaison between the school, families, healthcare providers, and community resources to facilitate access to healthcare services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited nursing program
• Registered Nurse (RN) license from the state board of nursing
• Any other relevant qualification will be accepted.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 per month.
