Description
Supports the strategic and commercial operations of the organization by managing end-to-end commercial processes, contract administration, business documentation, pricing strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
Key liaison between project teams, procurement, and executive leadership to ensure alignment of commercial activities with overall business objectives.
Coordinate the preparation, review, and submission of all commercial documents, including pricing schedules, variations, and change orders.
Track and manage service orders (SOs) and ensure timely processing of commercial approvals in collaboration with project and procurement teams.
Maintain commercial registers including SO status, billing forecasts, and commercial performance logs.
Support the commercial administration of Master Service Agreements (MSA), Field Management Agreements (FMA), and third-party service contracts.
Liaise with legal, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of commercial clauses.
Monitor contract expiry, performance milestones, and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
Coordinate and compile comprehensive Tender Board packages for internal management review and endorsement.
Prepare AFE documents including scope narratives, justification memos, pricing breakdowns, and budget alignment.
Ensure timely submission of approved packages to NEPL for funding, contracting, or execution approvals.
Track status of submitted packages and manage follow-ups to ensure timely decisions.
Assist in the preparation of business cases, pricing justifications, and internal approval memos.
Support reviews of service delivery costs, market benchmarks, and commercial health checks.
Maintain commercial templates, dashboards, playbooks, and rate databases.
Organize and document internal commercial meetings, alignment sessions, and strategy reviews.
Interface with NEPL, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure clarity on commercial deliverables and approval expectations.
Coordinate submission of required documentation for JV, lender, or regulatory compliance tied to commercial execution.
Support contract closeout activities including reconciliations and handover summaries.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
5 - 10 years' experience in commercial coordination, project support, or business administration roles within oil & gas, EPC, or energy service sectors.
Strong working knowledge of MSA, FMA, EPC contracts, and approval processes for JV-led operations.
Prior experience preparing Tender Board and AFE documentation is highly desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, trackers), PowerPoint, and Word. Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, or ERP platforms is a plus.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Ability to synthesize commercial data and prepare decision-ready packages.
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and prioritization skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication, especially for formal submissions.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across technical, commercial, and leadership teams.
Proactive, resourceful, and dependable in high-paced environments.
