We are seeking a highly analytical, commercially driven, and credit-savvy Retail Finance Manager to oversee the financial operations of our automotive retail network including vehicle showrooms, service centers, and spare parts outlets with a strong focus on loan and credit management.
The ideal candidate will not only manage retail financial performance but will also bring deep expertise in loan processing, credit facilities, and microfinance banking operations, ensuring the seamless integration of financing solutions into our retail sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for retail operations (vehicle sales, aftersales services, spare parts).
Analyze showroom and service center performance — revenue, gross profit, expenses, and margins.
Track key financial metrics such as cost per unit sold, average revenue per vehicle, and parts profitability.
Design, implement, and oversee credit and loan processes for vehicle purchases and aftersales financing.
Liaise extensively with banks, microfinance institutions, and loan officers to secure and manage customer financing solutions.
Provide financial insights to support pricing strategies, promotions, dealership expansion, and financing packages.
Monitor and report on inventory value, stock movement, and working capital efficiency.
Lead monthly financial reporting and variance analysis with recommendations to improve performance.
Support audit readiness, tax compliance, and internal controls related to retail and credit transactions.
Collaborate with sales, service, and operations teams to align financial and credit goals with business priorities.
Education & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is required.
MBA or postgraduate degree in Finance is an advantage.
Experience Requirements:
Minimum of 5 – 7 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in loan processing, credit facility management, and microfinance banking operations — this is a mandatory requirement.
Proven track record liaising with loan providers, structuring customer financing solutions, and managing credit risk.
Experience in automobile retail, FMCG, or multi-branch retail environments is a plus.
Experience managing financials for vehicle sales, service departments, or parts distribution is highly preferred.

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (SAP, Sage, or dealership management systems).
Excellent data analysis and presentation skills.
Business acumen and ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable strategies.
Strong interpersonal skills to liaise with showroom managers, service teams, loan officers, and vendors.
