Job Title: Sous Chef

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking passionate and talented Senior and Junior Sous Chefs to join our culinary leadership team.
• The ideal candidates will have 5–10 years of professional kitchen experience, a strong background in Mediterranean cuisine, and the ability to maintain the highest culinary standards. International experience is a plus and will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef in managing daily kitchen operations.
• Lead and supervise food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure excellence in quality and consistency.
• Incorporate authentic Mediterranean flavors, techniques, and presentation styles into the menu.
• Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high performance standards.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders, and ensure effective cost control.
• Maintain strict hygiene, health, and safety standards in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu planning, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Step in to lead the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements

• Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification 
• 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant kitchen.
• Proven expertise in Mediterranean cuisine.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity and passion for food presentation and innovation.
• International culinary experience is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
