Lindii Peace Foundation (LPF)is a nonprofit non-governmental national organization established in Nigeria in July 2014 with the aim to improve the lives of people through effective and efficient humanitarian and developmental assistance in communities where such supports are essentially necessary within Nigeria. Through international and national networking, LPF provided humanitarian and developmental assistance to individuals, families, schools, Health facilities, and communities in more than twelve (12) states within Nigeria regardless of their ethnicity, political and religious affiliation. LPF fundamentally intervenes in multi-sectoral humanitarian activities majoring in Protection, Health, Food Security & Livelihood, Education, Nutrition, Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) interventions, and other Cross-Sectoral areas.

Job Title: AWD Surveillance Task Force Field Worker
Locations: Yola North, Yola South & Fufori - Adamawa

Duty Description
Under the direct supervision of the WASH Officer/Snr WASH Officer, the successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and executing various disease tracking and surveillance activities in the field. Their primary role is to support the overall objective of preventing and controlling the spread of Acute Watery Diarrhea.
Job Description
Responsible for identifying new AWD cases in the community by conducting house-to-house visits, collecting symptomatic reports, and collaborating with community health workers and local healthcare providers.
The AWD STF field worker will be tasked with accurately mapping the locations of identified AWD cases using GPS technology or other geo-referencing tools. This information will be used to create visual representations of disease distribution, helping to identify potential outbreak clusters and high-risk areas.
The AWD STF field worker will play a vital role in confirming and verifying AWD cases by collecting relevant information, such as patient demographics, symptoms, and medical history. They will also ensure that case data is recorded and reported accurately and promptly.
The AWD STF field worker will be responsible for facilitating the referral of severe AWD cases to appropriate healthcare facilities for treatment and management. This involves maintaining communication channels with healthcare providers, ensuring timely referrals, and monitoring the progress of referred cases.
The AWD STF field worker will contribute to the implementation of KAP surveys related to AWD prevention and control. This includes conducting surveys in the community and collecting and managing survey data.
The AWD STF field worker will maintain accurate records of their activities and contribute to the generation of regular progress reports. They will also ensure that all collected data is properly stored, managed, and secured following established protocols and guidelines
Works as a bridging gap between LPF and communities.
Cooperate with people, women and men or staff around during their work.
Ensure that the properties in the place of work are respected and that no damage is caused to them.
Always be present to work without any absenteeism. Irregular participation and bad behavior towards beneficiaries or LPF staff will automatically result in the termination of his/her services.
Adhere to implementation standards, LPF ways of working, and the terms of the LPF Code of Conduct; including the commitment to zero tolerance on SEA and the obligation to report SEA cases.
He / She must not use their position of being engaged in LPF work to gain favors or material advantage.
Report any failure or damage of system/water facilities to the LPF Officer or Assistant in charge.
Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Officer or Assistant in charge.
Experience, Skill and Qualification
Minimum of 4 years for SSCE holders and Post SSCE Certificate, and 1 Year for ND, NCE, Degree Holders
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of the Local language and Proficiency in English have an advantage.
