Job Title: Sales Manager

Job Purpose
To plan, direct, and coordinate sales strategies that drive business growth, achieve revenue targets, expand market share, and strengthen customer relationships, while leading and developing a high-performing sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company objectives.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new business opportunities.
Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies to ensure goals are met.
Business Development & Client Relationship Management:
Identify, approach, and secure new customers in target markets.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and partners.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership & Performance Management:
Recruit, train, and coach sales representatives to achieve optimal performance.
Monitor individual and team performance against set KPIs.
Foster a positive, results-driven sales culture that encourages teamwork and accountability.
Sales Operations & Reporting:
Oversee sales pipelines, leads, and conversion rates using CRM tools.
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales performance reports.
Ensure accurate documentation of sales transactions, agreements, and communications.
Marketing Collaboration
Work closely with the marketing team to design campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends to guide product development and marketing strategies.
Customer Service & Retention:
Ensure sales activities align with customer satisfaction goals.
Address client complaints promptly and effectively to retain business.
Implement after-sales follow-up strategies.
Compliance & Ethical Standards:
Ensure sales practices comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Promote ethical selling and transparent communication with clients.
Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Market share growth percentage.
Customer acquisition rate vs. retention rate.
Sales conversion rate from leads.
Customer satisfaction and repeat business metrics.
Team productivity and turnover rates.
Skills & Competencies
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of sales processes, CRM systems, and negotiation tactics.
