Job Title: Field Service Supervisor

Job Summary
The Field Service Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of field service technicians, ensuring that all service calls are completed on time, to specification, and in compliance with company standards.
The supervisor will oversee troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and maintenance of products or systems at customer locations.
The role requires excellent leadership skills, customer service abilities, and technical expertise in the relevant field.
Responsibilites
Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of field service technicians. Provide direction, training, and support to ensure high-quality performance.
Service Operations: Oversee daily service operations, ensuring that work schedules are efficiently managed, and customer requirements are met. Coordinate technician assignments and monitor their performance in the field.
Customer Interaction: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during service visits. Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring that services are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Quality Control: Ensure that all field services are performed according to established quality standards and safety guidelines. Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Assist field technicians in diagnosing and resolving complex issues that may arise during service calls.
Inventory and Equipment Management: Monitor and manage the inventory of parts and tools needed for service visits. Ensure technicians are properly equipped for service tasks.
Reporting: Maintain accurate records of field service activities, including service reports, inventory usage, and customer feedback. Provide regular reports to management on team performance, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Safety Compliance: Ensure that all team members follow safety protocols and regulations when performing fieldwork. Conduct safety training sessions as needed.
Training & Development: Identify training needs within the team and facilitate opportunities for professional development to ensure technicians remain up-to-date with industry standards and technology.
Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as service response times, first-time fix rates, and customer feedback to assess the team's effectiveness and efficiency.
Skills / knowledge / competencies (essential):
Interested candidates should possess an HND / Bachelor`s Degree
Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in a field service role, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Experience with the specific type of equipment, systems, or services provided (e.g., HVAC, electrical systems, machinery) is also preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
Good understanding of field service processes, including scheduling, dispatching, and inventory management.
Proficient in using field service software or management systems.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 monthly.
