We are a newly established dry cleaning and laundry services company located in Lugbe, FCT, committed to delivering high-quality garment care with efficiency and exceptional customer service. We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Laundry Attendant / Washerman

Location: Lugbe Police Signboard, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports To: Business Coordinator

Job Summary

• As part of its launch phase, the company is seeking to hire a dedicated Laundry Attendant / Washerman to play a key role in ensuring smooth daily operations, outstanding customer experiences, and the overall success of the business.
• The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding laundry items, ensuring high quality service to customers.
• The role requires attention to detail, cleanliness, and the ability to handle laundry equipment safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort laundry items according to fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper use of detergents and cleaning agents.
• Fold, package, and label finished laundry items.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Report any damage or loss of items immediately to the Shop Manager.
• Assist in inventory control of cleaning supplies.

Qualifications and Skills

• Completion of Secondary school and SSCE Certitficate with 3 years work experience.
• Previous laundry or cleaning experience in garmet cleaning in structured organisations like hotels, hospitals etc is an advantage.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle delicate fabrics.
• Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and operating machinery.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and a positive work attitude.
