Job Title: Depot Coordinator

Job Summary
The Depot Co-Ordinator will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the depot, ensuring smooth receipt, storage, inventory management, and dispatch of natnudO Foods frozen products.
The role requires strong organizational, supervisory, and reporting skills to ensure operational efficiency, compliance with quality standards, and excellent service delivery to customers and distributors.
Responsibilities
Operations Management:
Supervise all depot activities, including product receipt, cold room storage, and order dispatch.
Ensure that stock levels are properly monitored and maintained to meet sales demand.
Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for depot operations.
Monitor compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards in line with company and regulatory requirements.
Inventory & Stock Control:
Conduct daily stock reconciliation and report variances promptly.
Maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound stock using the company ERP/stock management systems.
Liaise with sales and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate product deliveries.
Implement measures to minimize stock losses, damages, or wastage.
People & Performance Management:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of depot staff, loaders, drivers, and cold room attendants.
Assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure accountability of team members.
Train depot staff on safety, handling, and company policies.
Promote a culture of discipline, safety, and continuous improvement at the depot.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly depot activity reports (stock balances, inflows, outflows, and variances).
Report operational issues to management and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain accurate records of customer orders, dispatch documents, and delivery notes.
Customer & Stakeholder Management:
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Address and resolve depot-related complaints in collaboration with the sales and customer satisfaction teams.
Maintain good working relationships with transporters, distributors, and local regulatory authorities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in depot/warehouse operations, preferably in FMCG or food processing industry.
Experience in cold chain logistics and inventory control is a strong advantage.
Supervisory experience in managing depot/warehouse teams.
