Our client seeks a highly organized, motivated and results-driven professional who is a self-starter and has the ability to manage office operations and personnel efficiently with little or no supervision.
The aim of the role is to set the ground running and ensure smooth organizational activities amongst employees. The ideal candidate must have a strong leadership and charismatic personality.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow Management: Creating and improving standardized procedures for property listings, sales, and rentals to ensure consistency and efficiency across the firm.
Team Coordination: Facilitating communication and collaboration between different teams, such as sales, marketing, and property management, to ensure everyone is aligned with the company's goals.
Data Analytics: Collecting and analyzing data on firm performance, law productivity, and case outcomes to provide insights that help with strategic decision-making.
Recruitment and Onboarding: Sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews and checking references; making job offers and negotiating employment contracts, developing and implementing effective onboarding plans to welcome and integrate new hires.
Process Optimization: Analyzing and improving legal workflows, such as case management, document review, and billing, to reduce bottlenecks and increase productivity.
Employee Relations: Act as a point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and grievances; mediate conflicts between employees or between employees and management; enforce company policies and handle disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently.
Compensation and Benefits: Administering payroll and benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans; advising on salary reviews and compensation structures; keeping detailed records of employee attendance, leave, and other relevant information.
Compliance and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, both physical and digital; stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and regulations; ensure the company's policies and procedures comply with all local, state, and federal requirements to mitigate legal risks.
Qualifications & Skills
Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administrative or a related field.
Experience: 2 - 3years
Analytical Skill: Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret HR data.
Problem-solving skill: Ability to identify operational issues, such as process bottlenecks or employee disengagement, and developing effective solutions.
Strategic Planning: Aligning HR policies and operational processes with the company's overall business objectives to support growth and efficiency.
Building and maintaining strong relationships is vital.
Strong leadership and Team Management skills: Guiding and motivating an HR team, delegating tasks, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing work environment.
Communication Skill: Excellent written and verbal communication is essential for everything from drafting official company policies to mediating conflicts and conducting performance reviews.
Conflict Resolution skill: Mediating disputes between employees or between an employee and a manager fairly and discreetly to maintain a positive work culture.
Empathy and Emotional Intelligence: The ability to understand and respond to the emotional needs of employees, fostering a supportive and trusting environment.
Legal Compliance: A thorough understanding of labor laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to ensure the company avoids legal risks.
Process Improvement: The ability to review existing workflows and implement changes to make HR and operational processes more efficient and cost-effective.
Project Management: Leading and overseeing various HR projects, such as the implementation of new software, a company-wide training program, or an office relocation.
Budgeting: Managing the organizational budget, tracking expenses, and ensuring that all initiatives are executed within financial constraints.
Salary
N120,000 (Net) monthly.
