Job Title: Quality Assurance Tester

Location: Lagos

The position

• We’re looking for an Automation Test Engineer who will design, develop, and manage automated testing frameworks that ensure our products and systems are stable, scalable, and high performing. You’ll play a key role in embedding automation into our workflows, improving quality assurance, and enabling continuous delivery through CI/CD pipelines. Working closely with development and QA teams, you’ll help us scale faster without compromising quality.

Responsibilities 
What you’ll do:

• Assure the process of contracting and integrating automated testing software is adequate.
• Determine the feasibility of acceptance criteria for automation.
• Design, develop, and manage automated test cases and scripts.
• Analyze and define existing business processes and interdependencies for automation suitability.
• Review functional specifications for completeness, accuracy, and automation potential.
• Define, document, and implement automated test strategies and frameworks based on functional specs.
• Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify discrepancies, and clearly document defects.
• Maintain and update automated test suites to ensure accuracy and coverage.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous quality checks.

Requirements
What you bring:
Required:

• B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Knowledge of and experience in the IT industry.
• Experience developing and executing automated tests.
• Proficiency in at least one test automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).

Preferred:

• Strong knowledge of automated testing tools, frameworks, and processes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• Ability to analyze manual test cases and convert them into automated scripts.
• Able to receive and implement guidance from senior QA or development team members.
