  • This role blends creativity with strategy, requiring someone who can craft compelling content, spark conversations, and drive conversions across multiple platforms—including a vibrant WhatsApp community.

Role Overview

  • The Social Media Manager plays a crucial role in our organization by developing and executing an effective social media strategy. Their responsibilities include creating engaging content, moderating online platforms, and analyzing performance metrics.
  • Ultimately, the goal is to enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and foster a positive reputation through the strategic use of social media channels.
  • This is an Hybrid role of one day Onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed content calendars and plans aligned with brand goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure content supports broader marketing strategies.
  • Create engaging and visually appealing content including graphics, short-form videos, reels, and stories.
  • Write compelling captions and copy tailored to each platform.
  • Manage daily operations of social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter).
  • Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and foster community growth.
  • Design and execute Meta ad campaigns focused on lead generation and conversion.
  • Optimize ad performance using A/B testing, audience targeting, and analytics.
  • Track analyze performance metrics (reach, engagement, conversions).
  • Analyze social media metrics and insights to optimize strategy and report on campaign performance to stakeholders.
  • Provide regular reports with insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
  • Experiment with new ideas to keep content fresh and relevant.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 2-5 years experience.
  • Experience managing social media accounts across multiple platforms, with a focus on Instagram, LinkedIn, WhatsApp Community and TikTok.
  • Proficiency in Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, and Meta Ads Manager.
  • Strong video editing and storytelling skills.
  • Experience managing online communities, especially WhatsApp groups.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Required Skills:

  • Ability to develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy aligned with overall business goals
  • Proficiency in creating engaging and high-quality content (text, image, video) tailored for various social media platforms.
  • Skill in fostering and moderating online communities to build brand loyalty and customer engagement.
  • Capability to analyze social media metrics and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
  • Experience in managing and optimizing paid social media campaigns to achieve specific objectives such as conversions and lead generation.
  • Strong knowledge of popular social media platforms and their respective best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with followers, collaborate across teams, and manage influencer relationships.
  • Ability to think creatively, generate new ideas, and experiment with innovative social media marketing tactics.
  • Basic knowledge of SEO principles and content marketing strategies to optimize social media content for search engines.
  • Willingness to adapt to changes in social media trends, algorithms, and platform updates, while maintaining a proactive approach to learning.
  • Experience in managing social media budgets effectively and maximizing ROI on advertising spend.
