Lead business development, client acquisition, and revenue growth, ensuring alignment with Habrams' capabilities
Duties
Strategic Planning & Market Development:
Develop and execute BD strategies aligned with corporate growth priorities.
Conduct market intelligence and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends.
Prioritize new markets and service opportunities across West Africa.
Lead strategic reviews to refine focus areas and market positioning
Opportunity Management & Revenue Growth:
Identify and qualify EPC, O&M, and service contract opportunities aligned with company capabilities.
Oversee bid/no-bid governance and provide strategic direction on proposal development to ensure alignment with corporate priorities and win strategy.
Drive contract negotiations to successful closure, ensuring commercial and strategic alignment.
Grow key accounts through upselling and diversification of services.
Track and report opportunity pipeline and performance against growth targets.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement:
Build and sustain senior-level client relationships and partnerships.
Represent the company at industry forums, and regulatory meetings.
Oversee client onboarding and vendor engagement in line with corporate standards. Engage regulators and public stakeholders to enhance market access and compliance.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Coordination:
Lead BD and Tender team, focusing on high-value pursuits and capability development.
Set KPIs, performance standards, and development plans aligned with business goals.
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Operations, QHSE, and Finance to ensure opportunity alignment with delivery capacity and risk profile.
Promoteaculture of accountability, commercial discipline, and responsiveness.
Risk, Governance & Compliance:
Ensure BD activities comply with applicable legal/contractual requirements.
Identify commercial and regulatory risks and implement mitigation plans.
Oversee governance, documentation, and approvals in line with QMS.
Champion ethics, integrity, and professionalism in all external engagements.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline
MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification preferred
Experience:
Minimum 7-15 years in BD, sales, or strategic leadership roles
Proven success in securing EPC/OM contracts within energy sectors
Strong understanding of Nigeria’s market, regulatory environment, and industry players
