We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Mabushi, Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • A sales representative is a professional who sells a company's products or services to customers, both new and existing.
  • Their primary responsibilities include identifying potential clients, presenting products, negotiating deals, and building strong customer relationships to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • They often manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the deal, and are typically expected to meet or exceed sales targets or quotas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Knowledge: They possess a deep understanding of the products or services they sell, enabling them to effectively communicate their value proposition to potential customers.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with clients is crucial for repeat business and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations and Negotiations: Sales reps present products or services to potential clients, address their questions, and negotiate sales terms, including pricing and contracts.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Sales representatives actively seek out new sales opportunities through various methods like cold calling, networking, and leveraging client referrals.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 - 6 years relevant work experience.

Essential Skills:

  • Sales and Persuasion: The ability to effectively sell products or services, handle objections, and close deals is fundamental.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Sales representatives need to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, manage customer interactions, and track leads.
  • Product Knowledge: A deep understanding of the products or services being sold is essential for effectively communicating their value to potential customers.
  • Time Management and Organization: Being able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and stay organized is vital for meeting sales targets and deadlines.
  • Problem-Solving: Sales representatives often encounter customer issues and must be able to address them effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office: Familiarity with CRM software for managing customer data and Microsoft Office suite for documentation and communication is often required.
  • Self-Motivation and Resilience: Sales can be challenging, so a self-motivated and resilient attitude is important for staying focused and overcoming obstacles.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Sales representatives may need to work with other departments or teams within the company.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication is crucial for interacting with customers, presenting products or services, and negotiating deals.
