We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: AC Technician

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AC Technician with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in installing, servicing, and repairing HVAC systems.
• The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical knowledge, a strong work ethic, and the ability to independently manage complex HVAC tasks in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, service, and repair various HVAC systems, including split units, package units, VRF/VRV systems, and chillers.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules and service standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform troubleshooting with minimal supervision.
• Monitor refrigerant levels and recharge systems when necessary.
• Ensure proper calibration and functioning of thermostats, sensors, and control systems.
• Perform ductwork, piping, insulation, and system layout installations.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete job reports for each assignment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and environmental regulations, including proper refrigerant handling.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians if required.
• Coordinate with clients and other departments for effective job completion.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/ITI Certification in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant field experience.
• Sound knowledge of HVAC, electrical and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams, wiring schematics, and manuals.
• Familiarity with industry safety standards and local compliance codes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically fit and able to work in all kinds of environments (rooftops, confined spaces, etc).

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• EPA Certification or local equivalent for refrigerant handling.
• Experience working with BMS (Building Management Systems) and smart HVAC controls
