We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Shift Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Staff Supervision: Oversee and motivate restaurant staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure productivity and adherence to standards.
• Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service, address complaints professionally, and foster a positive dining experience.
• Operations Management: Manage daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, and ensuring all equipment is functioning correctly.
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, conduct stock counts, order necessary supplies and food products, and manage deliveries.
• Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, and train staff on these guidelines.
• Financial Tasks: Handle cash registers, process payments, perform end-of-shift cash reconciliations, and keep records of daily costs and revenues.
• Staff Training: Train and mentor new employees on company procedures, safety, and customer service best practices.
• Problem-Solving: Address operational issues and staff conflicts to maintain a smooth and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Experience must be at least 4 years in a managerial position at a restaurant or hotel.
• Leadership & Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities during a busy shift.
• Customer Service: A strong focus on customer satisfaction and a professional approach to handling complaints.
• Problem-Solving: Capability to quickly and effectively resolve issues that arise during a shift.
• Restaurant Knowledge: Good understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and inventory control.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary
N90,000 - N100,000 monthly.
