Role Overview
This is a senior, strategic role designed for a high-calibre professional who will serve as a bridge between leadership and the wider team.
The position combines technical sales, business development, operational leadership, procurement oversight, bid/tender management, and team mentorship.
The ideal candidate will bring proven industry experience, deep client relationships, and the ability to drive both external growth and internal efficiency.
Acting as a senior level, the role will enable leadership to focus on high-level strategy while ensuring day-to-day business operations and client engagements run seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth & Client Engagement:
Identify and develop new business opportunities in the EPC sector, with a focus on asset integrity, inspection, operations, maintenance, repairs, and installation.
Strengthen and expand relationships with key clients, industry stakeholders, and partners.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and high-level meetings to position us as a trusted EPC service provider.
Operations & Process Leadership:
Oversee procurement processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, supplier reliability, and quality compliance.
Lead and coordinate bid and tender submissions, ensuring technical and commercial proposals meet high standards.
Drive operational efficiency by implementing and enforcing processes across business units.
Serve as a central communication link between the founder and internal teams, ensuring clarity, alignment, and accountability.
Team Leadership & Mentorship:
Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to newer or less experienced team members.
Foster a culture of performance, collaboration, and problem-solving within the team.
Support capability building by sharing industry insights, market intelligence, and strategic thinking approaches.
Commercial & Strategic Support:
Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve favourable terms for the company.
Contribute to business strategy development, identifying growth areas and mitigating risks.
Provide leadership with actionable reports and market analysis to inform decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum) or related technical discipline.
7+ years’ experience in business development, technical sales, or operations leadership within the EPC/oil & gas sector.
Proven track record of driving revenue growth, closing large-scale deals, and improving operational performance.
Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycles, procurement processes, industry regulations, and bid/tender management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at senior levels and mentor team members.
High adaptability, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, sales certifications, or safety/quality compliance standards) will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with major industry players and project ecosystems (FEED, PMC, turnkey).
Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and industry-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera P6) is an advantage.
Strong technical writing skills for developing reports, proposals, and technical documentation.

Salary
N1,500,000 – N2,000,000 per month.
