About the Role
We are seeking a vibrant, skilled, and motivated I.T. Technical Assistant to join our dynamic technology team.
The ideal candidate will support the Head of I.T. Technical in day-to-day operations, provide technical assistance to staff, ensure smooth running of systems and networks, and contribute to innovative technology projects within the company.

Key Responsibilities
Assist the Head of I.T. Technical in managing and maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure.
Provide first-level technical support (hardware, software, and network troubleshooting) to internal staff.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and software tools.
Support network administration, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
Monitor and maintain computer systems to ensure optimal performance.
Perform regular system backups and data recovery tests.
Assist with hardware repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
Collaborate on IT-related projects such as new system rollouts, upgrades, and technology innovations.
Maintain IT documentation, including inventory, licenses, and user guides.
Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and best practices.
Provide training and orientation to staff on IT systems when required.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements for efficiency.
Requirements & Qualifications
B.Sc./HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2–3 years of experience in an IT support or technical role (internship or NYSC experience may be considered if strong technical skills are proven).
Strong knowledge of Windows & Linux operating systems, networking, and cloud services.
Proficiency in MS Office 365, hardware troubleshooting, and system administration.
Knowledge of basic cybersecurity practices and data protection principles.
Familiarity with IT support tools (Helpdesk systems, remote support tools, ticketing systems).
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely solutions.
A passion for technology, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset.
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage):
Experience with database management (SQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
Basic knowledge of scripting or programming languages (Python, Java, PowerShell, etc.).
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, CCNA, Microsoft Certified, ITIL) will be an added advantage.
Salary
N180,000 - N200,000 per month.
