Job Title: Fitness Trainer

Job Summary

• The Fitness Trainer will be responsible for guiding and supporting clients in achieving their health and fitness goals through safe, effective, and personalized training programs.
• The role requires a passion for fitness, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to motivate individuals of all fitness levels while ensuring adherence to gym rules and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate clients’ current health, strength, and endurance levels.
• Design and implement personalized training programs tailored to clients’ needs, goals, and fitness levels.
• Demonstrate safe and effective exercises, providing modifications where necessary.
• Motivate and support clients to achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
• Monitor clients’ progress and adjust training programs as required.
• Educate clients on proper nutrition, lifestyle habits, and overall wellness practices.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming training environment at all times.
• Uphold and enforce gym policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Stay updated with current fitness trends, techniques, and certifications.
• Organize group fitness classes and special training sessions when required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of a Diploma/Certificate in Fitness Training, Physical Education, or related field.
• Relevant professional certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ISSA, NSCA, or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Fitness Trainer or Personal Trainer.
• Strong knowledge of exercise physiology, nutrition, and fitness assessment techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with clients of different ages, backgrounds, and fitness levels.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
