Job Title: Site Supervisor
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary
To oversee and manage the daily operations on project sites, coordinating vendors & suppliers, ensuring that work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required standards, within budget and on schedule.
Coordinate personnel, monitor progress, prepare, and submit project reports, and maintain communication with various stakeholders to facilitate successful project completion.
Responsibilties
Project Management:
Collaborate with Team Lead in the review and evaluation of plans, scope, specifications, and designs for each project.
Produce ITPs, WMS, Risk Assessment, HSE reports, project scope briefings and other necessary documentation for each project.
Produce equipment & material procurement schedules for projects and liaise with procurement officer to ensure site has adequate resources to complete the project.
Collaborate with Team Lead in verifying the manpower needed for each project and the quantum of works completed by each subcontractor.
Monitor and ensurethat site activities are in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
Conduct project meetings as the company’s site representative as required and prepares/ submits reports to seniors within the specified timeframe.
Collaborate with Team Lead/BDM in the preparation of Scope of Works, Specifications and Cost Estimates for the project and/or preparing RFQs/RFPs.
Produce weekly look ahead in conjunction with project planner.
Keep inventory of all Company-owned and leased third-party equipment to identify ownership and date hired/leased, location of the equipment on the project site, and condition of the equipment on site.
Maintain proper equipment and personnel manifest with the Client, for all entries into the project site for ease of demobilization.
At completion of project, reconcile the all-inventory listing for the company-owned and Third Party equipment manifested at the project site point if entry against the physical inventory of the equipment at the end of the project.
Ensure proper return of all company-owned and third-party equipment in good working condition to source of acquisition.
Carry out physical inspection of equipment with truck drivers before load out.
Keep inventory of personnel on project site and adequate Timesheet for the purpose of their remuneration.
Site Supervision:
Monitor and controlaccess to project site(s) as necessary.
Inspect and verifythat all materials delivered to the project site comply with contractual requirements.
Monitor, inspecand ensureworkmanship and practices of subcontractors, community crews engaged on site are in accordance with required Client standards.
Conduct on-going site inspections to ensure adherence to all contractual agreement & standard of work plans and specifications; takes action as necessary.
Witnesstesting and quality control activities to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Monitors cleanliness and general orderliness of project site.
Collaborate with project planner to monitor project work schedules to ensure they remain ‘on schedule’.
Prepares and submits detailed reports on any deviations or schedules together with appropriate recommendations.
Health & Safety:
Facilitate site inspection (s) and monitor for compliance with HSE and/or any other relevant regulations.
Liaise with the site HSEs to ensure that HSE issues that are reported or observed are adequately actioned by the appropriate persons within the agreed timeframes.
Conductroutine site inspection(s) and advises the Team Lead(s) and/or HSE lead of any deviations to HSE requirements.
Documentation and Reports:
Prepareand submitreports on all incidents and/or accidents occurring on project site in accordance with standard HSE procedures.
Logall activities of the project site in the Daily Logbook/ Progress Report in accordance with the company’s procedures and standards, including visitors to the project site, daily Weather, materials delivered to site, works conducted, incidents / accidents, security related matters.
Prepareand submitdaily/weekly/monthly reports on assigned project(s), utilizing the approved formats and within the agreed time frames.
Ensure the submission of progress reports to Clients daily
Performs any other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualification / Requirements
Degree in related Mechanical /Petrochemical Engineering
At least four (4) years in a similar position
NEBOSH / or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Project management and organizational skills.
Ability to read and interpret drawings.
Ability to prioritize and manage several tasks on project/s.
Sound judgement, good observation and attention to details.
Possess initiative and customer focus.
Problem solving skills and assertiveness.
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal).
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and Project). Autocard
Possess understanding of business critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety
Candidates with experience in tank cleaning and knowledge of automated/ robotic tank wouldbe given preference.
