A Multinational Company with business activities and offices in Nigeria and other countries is recruiting to fill the position below: 

Job Title: Director, Human Resources

Location: Nigeria

Responsibilities

• Champion an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, team-work and high performance.  
• Ensure job descriptions for all positions are accurate and up-to-date.  
• Use the organization's database for programs, as required for business decisions.  
• Provide assistance to line managers with department managers, and employees training needs.  
• Conduct interviews with the purpose of hiring the most qualified employees.  
• Promote and ensure training and development and employee communication services.  
• Provide counseling services for personal issues and employee complaints.  
• Build a Quality Assurance Program that is tied to performance.  
• Review compensation plans and provide administration for employee benefits.  
• Provide company-wide communications and manage social committees.  
• Develop a code of conduct requiring professional behavior at all times.

Requirements

• An MBA and other post graduate qualifications will be added advantage  
• Excellent leadership and communication skills  
• Excellent organisational skills  
• Strong selling, presentation and negotiation skills  
• Minimum of 22 years cognate experience and 5 years as Head of Human Resources Management in a renowned organization  
• Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage
