Basic Function:

Customer Follow-up on timely basis.
Principal Duties
Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service.
In charge of developing the restaurant's profitability, the F&B Headeaborates and controls the operating operational,quality,and administrative functions are carried out properly.
As a Food & Beverage Head, you are responsible for managing all aspects of the food and beverage service
The Food & Beverage Head for Gaby Lagos is responsible for managing all the club's entire food service
Telemarketing to Members and previous customers to inquire about possible future bookings and Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Full-Time Working Hours is required and participates in the recruitment and training.
Handle all Food & Beverage inquiries and ensures timely follow up on the same business day.
Coordinate with all meeting / event planners on their specific event requirements and informing
Manage inventory, purchase, storage and use of food and beverage stock items.
Assign duties to all Front of House staff, instructing work duties and communicating with them of services & facilities offered. This includes proposals, contracts, estimated and actual budget of each point of sale, manages purchases, participates in the creation of the menu and in the setting.
Identify customers’ needs and respond proactively to all their concerns.
Motivation and teamwork.
Quality of Food & Beverage services and department phone handling.
Establish targets, KPI’s, schedules, policies, and procedures for team.
Collaborate with the Head Chef during food tasting sessions and guide service staff on all.
Minimise number of guest/ member complaints.
Ensure that services meet customer specifications.
Check all set-ups for restaurant, events and Haven, Hub, functions. Responsible for the correct
Consistent check of Food and Beverage quality, restaurant, members lounge (Haven), Hub services
Ensure professional attitude and proper business attire when on property,ready to attend to a guest at anytime.
Comply with all health and safety regulations.
Ensuring Food & Beverage Standards and Responsibilities are Met.
Provide a monthly fore cast together with Head Chef.
Assure the maintenance of bar control policies.
Attend meetings with CEO, GM, and Head Chef to discuss business strategy and review
Administers the performance appraisal process for direct reports
On going action plan progress, and other meetings as required.
Responsible for over seeing all scheduling with in the department.
Participate in menu planning for promotions.
Lead FOH team with daily briefings and regular training, and appraisals.
Cost Control:
Maintains proper controls over purchase orders and requisitions
Staffing / Human Relations:
Establishes guide lines so employees understand expectations and parameters.
Reviews beverage cost analysis daily to in line with budget and forecast
Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
Ensures employees are treated fairly and equitably.
Observes service behaviour of employees and provides feedback to individuals
Personal development and growth.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and supports the Peer Review Process.
Ensures professional staff attitude, proper appearance and uniform standards.
Discipline of personnel when required.
High employee retention managers.
Manage staff performance issues in compliance with club policies and procedures.
Ensures bar inventory for functions ,including opening and closing inventories, accurate bar.
Training & Development:
Competitive analysis every three months by gathering data from competitors such as, room rental
Conduct section/ departmental meetings and staff daily briefings.
Attendance and participation at daily F&B meeting and Department Head meetings.
Ensures availability to staff incase of emergency
Ensures disciplinary procedures are appied and documentation completed according to summaries and cash deposits are prepared.
Team work-Relations with co-workers and management.
Ensure employees receive daily training to understand Guest/Members expectations.
Monitors monthly beverage inventory turn over and slow-moving items rates,menu pricing etc.
Assist with menu planning and pricing competitive surveys and other aids start up business
Report any deficiencies in equipment and facilities.
Continually improve product and obtain feedback from members, guests,CEO and GM.
Structure and relays any recommendations from the rest of FOH Team.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situation improvement.
Participation in overall Club Maintenance and cleanliness.
Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
Timely analysis of Food & Beverage Prices in relation to competitors.
Experience managing and developing staff directly,efficiently,and effectively to the best of her/his judgment.
Food & Beverage experience in managerial capacity

Physical Aspects of Position:
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Some lifting and carrying up
Strong background in fine dining
Constant standing and walking throughout shift.
Educational, Development and Work-Related Experience
Degree/certification/training in food & beverage/hospitality management is preferred.
Passion for food and wines
Previous food&beverage experience in similar role.
IT proficiency:
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Occasional kneeling, pushing,pulling, lifting
Advance food hygiene qualification
Occasional ascending or descending stairs
Events background is an advantage
Excellent organisational and analytical skills.
Salary
N250,000 - N300,000 Monthly.
