Job Description
We are seeking for a skilled Equipment Mechanic Operator to join our team.
As an Equipment Mechanic Operator, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy machinery used in construction, mining, and other industries.
Your expertise will ensure that equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, loaders, cranes, and graders operate safely and efficiently.
You will diagnose mechanical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventative maintenance, and complete repairs in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of heavy equipment systems.

Roles & Responsibilities
Inspect and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in heavy equipment.
Perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on machinery.
Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems.
Maintain accurate service and maintenance records.
Operate diagnostic tools and specialized equipment.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
Communicate with equipment operators regarding equipment performance.
Order and install replacement parts as needed.
Test equipment after repairs to ensure proper operation.
Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Assist in training junior mechanics or apprentices.
Read and interpret technical manuals, use diagnostic tools, and keep accurate maintenance records.
In addition to hands-on repair work, you may be required to communicate with equipment operators to understand issues, order replacement parts, and provide recommendations for equipment upgrades or replacements.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Technical certification is also required.
Proven experience as an equipment mechanic operator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Proficient with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy parts and work in various environments.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
