We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head of Corporate Branding

Locations: Lagos and Osun

Some Key Responsibilities
Strategic Communication Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic communication plans aligned with the company's overall objectives.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine communication strategies.

Brand Development and Management:

  • Lead the development, implementation, and management of the company's brand strategy.
  • Oversee the creation of brand assets, including logos, taglines, and visual elements.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.

Media Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and journalists.
  • Proactively pitch and secure media coverage for key company initiatives.
  • Manage responses to media inquiries and crisis communication effectively.

Internal Communication:

  • Develop and execute internal communication strategies to engage and inform employees.
  • Facilitate communication channels that promote transparency and collaboration within the organization.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, investors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Section B (Primary Duties & Responsibilities) and Key Performance Indicators
  • Represent the company in industry events, conferences, and community engagements.

Content Development:

  • Oversee the creation of engaging and compelling content for various platforms, including press releases, website content, and social media.
  • Ensure that all content aligns with the company's brand and messaging.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budget allocated for communication and branding initiatives.
  • Provide regular reports on budget utilization and return on investment.

Key Performance Indicators
Brand Visibility and Recognition:

  • Increase brand awareness by 15% over the next 12 months.
  • Garner a minimum of 20 positive media mentions per quarter.

Media Coverage and Impressions:

  • Achieve a 20% increase in positive media coverage compared to the previous year.
  • Generate a minimum of 50 million media impressions annually.

Communication Effectiveness:

  • Maintain a consistency rating of 95% or higher in messaging across all channels.
  • Achieve a 10% improvement in overall communication effectiveness, as measured by audience feedback.

Internal Communication Engagement:

  • Increase employee engagement by 20% based on internal surveys.
  • Improve the effectiveness of internal communication channels, aiming for a 15% increase in readership or participation.

Stakeholder Satisfaction:

  • Achieve a minimum of 85% satisfaction rating in stakeholder satisfaction surveys.
  • Respond to and resolve stakeholder concerns within a 24-hour timeframe for at least 95% of cases.

Crisis Management:

  • Develop and successfully execute crisis communication plans in simulated scenarios, with a minimum effectiveness rating of 90%.
  • Respond to real crises with a resolution time of less than 48 hours and maintain a positive sentiment in at least 80% of cases.

Content Engagement:

  • Increase engagement on digital platforms by 25%, measured through likes, shares, and comments.
  • Achieve a 15% growth in website traffic attributable to content marketing efforts.

Budget Management:

  • Maintain a budget utilization rate of 90% or better for communication and branding initiatives.
  • Achieve a minimum return on investment (ROI) of 12% for communication campaigns.

Section B (Primary Duties & Responsibilities) and Key Performance Indicators
Employee Advocacy:

  • Increase the Net Promoter Score (NPS) for internal communication by 10 points.
  • Achieve an 80% or higher employee satisfaction rate with the company's internal communication efforts.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis:

  • Conduct quarterly market research reports identifying at least two emerging trends or opportunities.
  • Monitor and analyze competitor communication strategies, providing quarterly reports with actionable insights.

Event Success:

  • Achieve a minimum of 90% satisfaction rating from attendees for all corporate events.
  • Secure media coverage for at least 75% of major company events.

Social Media Metrics:

  • Increase social media followers by 20% annually.
  • Achieve a monthly average of 10,000 engagements (likes, shares, comments) on social media channels.
  • Note: There will be added responsibilities as the need arises.
  • Section C (Qualifications, Experience, Skills &Competencies)

Education and Work Experience

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in a senior communication or branding role, preferably within the real estate or related industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand development, media relations, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate business goals into effective communication strategies.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Excellent Communication Skills (Written and verbal).
  • Good use of Microsoft tools.
  • Excellent business writing skills.

  • Excellent planning and organizing skills.
  • Ability to identify potential clients and close deals.

Remuneration

  • Salary: 400,000 to 500,000 / month.
