We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data and Technology Manager

Location: Ibadan, Oyo and Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Data Management: Design, implement and maintain data systems that support business needs. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Data Reporting: Generate reports and dashboards that summarize key insights. Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
• Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations to communicate complex data insights effectively.
• Business Collaboration: Collaborate with different departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable recommendations.
• Technology Infrastructure: Oversee the organization’s technology infrastructure, including software, networks and databases. Ensure systems are reliable and secure.
• Data Analytics: Collaborate with business units to develop analytics capabilities. Provide insights and reports to support decision-making.
• Project Management: Lead technology-related projects, from conception to implementation. Coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets, and ensure timely delivery of the technology-related projects.
• Data Security: Develop and implement data security policies and protocols. Ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors. Evaluate and select technology solutions that meet business requirements.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of data and technology professionals. Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

• Data Accuracy, Timeliness and Consistency:
• Percentage of accurate and consistent data analysis across all systems.
• Frequency of data discrepancies or errors.
• Average turnaround time for completing analysis and generating reports.
• Percentage of reports delivered on time.

Project Delivery:

• Percentage of projects completed on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder satisfaction with project outcomes.

Data Security Compliance:

• Compliance with data security regulations.
• Number of security incidents or breaches.

Technology Infrastructure Performance:

• Average response time for system support requests.
• Efficient gains from technology upgrades or improvements.

Data Analytics Impact:

• Number of data-driven insights or reports delivered to business units.
• Impact of data-driven decisions on the business outcomes.
• Percentage of recommendations that lead to measurable business improvements.
• Impact of data-driven decisions on key business metrics (e.g., revenue, customer retention).

Team Development:

• Employee satisfaction within the data and technology team.
• Retention rate of team members.

Vendor Management:

• Cost savings achieved through vendor negotiations.
• Quality and performance of vendor- provided technology solutions.
• Maintain positive relationships with all IT vendors and partners.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

• Number of innovative solutions or process improvements proposed and implemented
• Participation in training or professional development programs.
• Sales: Make at least one sale every quarter
• Reporting: Effective monthly reporting of all activities of the department.
• Note: There will be added responsibilities as the need arises.3

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Competencies
Education and Work Experience:

• Required: A Minimum of First Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
• Completion of NYSC program.
• Knowledge of data security best practices and regulations.
• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in the same role.

Salary and Benefits

• N400,000 - N500,000 / Month
