Fresh Graduates Recruitment Exercise at Osun State as Governor Lifts Embargo on Employment

Posted on Thu 08th Nov, 2012 - hotnigerianjobs.com --- (359 comments)

The temporary embargo placed on employment in Osun State may have been lifted as the state Governor, Rauf Aregbesola has approved recruitment of university graduates and recognised professional certificate holders into the state civil service and government parastatals.

The news came on Tuesday in a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Civil Service Commission, Mrs Bimpe Ogunlumade, who urged qualified candidates to obtain appropriate recruitment forms from the commission.
The recruitment exercise is to ensure the fulfillment of the six-point integral action plan of the administration. The statement said that category of workers to be recruited included administrative officers, lawyers, accountants, inspectors of taxes, quantity surveyors and information officers.

Others vacancies to be filled in the public service were medical doctors, pharmacists, nursing officers, education officers, engineers, auditors as well as produce officers. The list of workers needed to strengthen the state work- force also included registrars of cooperatives, architects and building officers.

The statement then called for applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to obtain, complete and submit their application forms within a period of one week at the state Civil Service Commission, behind Bola Ige House, State Secretariat, Abere, Osogbo.

I appreaciate al d efforts of our EVER GREAT GOV of d state of Osun. My opinion on dis ongoing TEPO recruitment is dat Gov should pls for development sake, go for merit alone. This isn't d issue 4 OYES or any other categories but to work base on what wl bring us sound education 2 our state. I hereby sumit my advice that Gov should consider only d qualified applicants. The OYES may b considered in non-teaching. Education is our priority, we should not play wit it. Thanks

I really support d above episode delivered by IK which says Gov shd go 4 d best nd qualified applicants from d test conductd by TESCOM now TEPO. I'm very sure dat d reason 4 conducting a test is 2 know d best, now d test has revealed d best among d applicants. Why do wl set d qualified ones aside nd go 4 other wit less score? It won't help bcos d chosen ar going 2 make impart in d life our students. And as a teacher u teach what u know. The qualified teacher produces d qualified student. Sir u hv tried 4 we OYES cadet, now it is issue of Education, pls, lets help d students by giving them d qualified teachers. OSUN A DARA OOO - - - Ex OYES cadet

Moreover d announcement concerns d recruitment was made open 2 d general public not oyes cadet only so why are u selfish? anyway God is d best judge

Since indepence, there have not been any better government. All have their own worst part and dealing. We use evils only to chase away evils! Do will know, which one is stronger? OGBENI morns over reprochable standard of education in our state who he blames on the past adminisration. Now, OGBENI is digging, building, decorating and adverting grave warehouse of grievious lamentation in education for the next administration by his numerous politically legal, initiated and schematic nepotism. {e.g. SUBEB employment, merging of schools, etc} OGBENI should be painstaking in his taking of socio-political decision. Please, don't act like picture doged president. Though, no one knows tomorrow, but, tomorrow shall tell! §[please rate and comment]§
