Job Title: Restaurant Manager

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• The Ideal candidate will deliver a high-quality menu, ensure efficient restaurant operation and motivate staff to maintain highproductivity and deliver uality,customer-service standards.
• Will partake in the hiring, training, and supervise restaurant employees
• Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant's revenue, profitability and quality goals.
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual revenues and expenses
• Create staff schedule to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary.
• Take ownership of budgets and cost control methods to minimize expenses.
• Address customer needs, comments, and complaints
• Adhere to and enforce employee compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Maintain all relevant records
• Ensure all employees are working within outlined operating standards.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Report on financial performance, inventory, and personnel
• To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will need management skills and experience in both front and back of the house, know how to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and balance seating capacity.
• Back of the house management experience is also essential, the ideal candidates will set work schedules, oversee food preparation and make sure staff complies with health and safety restaurant regulations.
• As a restaurant manager, the ideal candidate is expected to lead by example, keep other staff motivated during busy moments in a fast-paced environment, ensure the smooth running of the restaurant, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events
  Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)
• Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
  Requirements.

Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree in Business Administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.
• Minimum of 3 years proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role.
• Proven customer service experience as a manager.
• Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software.
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N200,000 per month.
