Job Summary
The role is to accelerate sales growth, collaborate with the team, and implement a sales plan to drive and achieve revenue growth and sales strategy in Nigeria.
The Sales Director must be energetic, persuasive, well-organised, and able to utilize his ability to sell. Define and execute appropriate business development, marketing, technical, operations, and sales support programs to maximise sales and profitability in Nigeria.
The Sales Director will develop and achieve the company’s objectives in the allocated region regarding market share, sales, execution, and people performance.
Develop and monitor business standards of existing distributors to meet business goals.
Responsibilities
Manages and overseas the Sales operations at Bogo Beverages.
Design and execute plans to meet targets and develop relationships with customers.
Drive brand penetration in general trade and key accounts (Horeca /Modern trade) within the country.
Oversees and executes the overall business objective in Bogo Beverages Nigeria.
Ensure strategic marketing activities are developed and executed for brand visibility and sales.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors. sales, District managers, sales executives, and market developers and ensure they achieve the designated targets and business goals.
Create strong relationships with key stakeholders in Nigeria as regards our products.
Understand the competitive landscape and market and ensure goals are achieved.
Understand and effectively communicate the company's vision & values and our value proposition.
Ensure the team meets and exceeds weekly/monthly/annual sales targets.
Establish and adjust selling prices by monitoring costs, competition and supply, and demand.
The role will drive the achievement of Bogo Beverages’ goals and objectives with valuable outcomes.
Requirements
The following skills and experience are required:
A graduate, MBA will be an added advantage.
Must be in the wine/spirit or beverage industry.
Must have 15 - 20 years of work experience.
Proven sales experience, meeting, or exceeding targets.
Proven ability to position products against competitors.
Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager, or sales director
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products sold.
Leadership skills to lead teams in achieving results.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
