We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Bakery Sales Supervisor

Location: Lokoja, Kogi
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a dynamic Bakery Sales Supervisor to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth.
  • This role requires a results-oriented individual with strong sales experience and the ability to develop customer relationships while ensuring efficient distribution of our products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Management: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Route Planning: Plan and optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and customer coverage
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers (retailers, restaurants, cafes)
  • Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities and customer accounts
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences
  • Team Development: Train, coach, and mentor sales representatives and delivery staff
  • Order Management: Oversee order processing, ensure accurate deliveries, and handle customer complaints
  • Reporting: Prepare sales reports, track performance metrics, and provide insights to management
  • Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with production team to ensure adequate stock levels for sales demand
  • Driving Duties: Personally handle key account visits and deliveries when required
  • Promotional Activities: Plan and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives
  • Credit Management: Monitor customer payments and work with finance team on collections

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum of OND/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of sales supervisory experience, preferably in FMCG or food industry
  • Driving License: Valid Nigerian driver's license with clean driving record (MANDATORY)
  • Driving Experience: Minimum 3 years of active driving experience

Sales Skills:

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Customer relationship management experience
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate sales teams
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Technology: Proficiency in MS Office and sales management software
