We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

• We are looking for a friendly, attentive, and customer-focused Waitert o join our service team.
• You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience for all guests.
• The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and present menus.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve orders promptly and ensure proper presentation and portioning.
• Respond to customer inquiries about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate.
• Check on customers regularly to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Clear tables, clean service areas, and reset tables for the next guests.
• Process bills, accept payments, and return change or receipts accurately.
• Follow all restaurant policies regarding food safety, hygiene, and customer service.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service.
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer-facing role is preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Friendly attitude with a customer-first mindset.
• Basic math skills for handling payments.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverages, including allergens and dietary requirements.
• Familiarity with POS systems and order-taking procedures.
• Fluency in multiple languages (optional, but a plus in tourist or international settings).

Work Environment:

• Fast-paced restaurant or hospitality setting
• Long hours on your feet
• Interaction with customers, kitchen staff, and management
• Shift work including evenings and weekends

Salary
N40,000 Monthly.
